My Reflections for Term 1 week 2~4
These few science lessons i have is rather fun and enriching, our science teacher make it a point that the lessons will be meaningful, fun and entertaining, Mr Sim always add in points that is not in the syllabus, and he will talk other stuff, that is interesting and some did-you-know facts. i always find his lessons enjoyable! I learn lots of general knowledge and other not-in-syllabus-scientific facts, Mr Sim sometimes would also let us watch science documentary!
I learn lots of things from him, and my science got a A1 in term 1! he teaches and everyone listens, everyone listens to him because he is a good teacher! He always lend a helping hand when we are in trouble, and when lab lessons he always help to see whether we do it correctly.
My first lab lessons is a looking session, we look at Mr Sim do the experiment!!!!
My Reflections for Term 1 Week 4~5
The hand-on experiment is really fun! This is the first time i touched and operate the Bunsen Burner myself, it is very fun! My lab partner and i did the experiment together and it somehow strengthen our bonds:D Mr Sim re-brief us on the rules and apparatus, and where is the apparatus place at, he also lead us to where we should put our test tubes for safekeeping and we were also instructed to buy a test tubes cloth($1) and Mr Sim also let us know when we should use our test tubes. It is very enriching as Mr Sim let us know the difference and the uses of apparatus.
Reflections on Measurement
I admit i do have some problems on this topic, i am not so strong at this at first, it is rather complicated but the teachers patiently guide me, and do his best to answer any questions of mine with good and relevant answers. Slowly, i got better at this. I thank my teachers for their help! :D This topic is rather confusing and you have to remember how to take the reading and the right way of measuring, i got the hand of it with the help of some hands-on.
Reflection in General
My whole journey of learning science this year is fun and interesting, especially when i have such a fine teacher, and also rather interesting classmates, which gave weird and good questions which some is even weird that my teacher is unable to answer it, but it is curiosity, an important element in learning science. But then sometimes there is hard times, and also some things that is hard to understand, but when i have difficulty, i would always consult my teachers and ask my peers, which is rather helpful and i am touched for that.
