Meniscus Reading
Surface level of the liquid is not horizontal when read from a cylinder - appears to be curved instead of being flat. Curvature is more pronounced if the cylinder is narrower. Correct reading of the liquid level should be at the bottom for a concave meniscus Correct reading of the liquid level should be at the top for a convex meniscus.
